Default Emerald Fade Front ( Reso ) hoop question.

This is for my Emerald Fade Brothers and Sisters and other helpful members here. I had a EM Fade Kit I once shipped to a guy. UPS broke the light colored Reso side Hoop.
On my own kit I still have, I have been using a Purple hoop I had from Mr Percival's old kit. I know the Shell is a Grain thru dyed finish and the dark Green Batter hoop is essentially solid. My need to know is on the Reso side hoop. IS the light green actually see thru like the shell?

Also if anyone can post close ups of their light Em fade reso hoops or if anyone has a Spare or source of one I would appreciate it. Thanks

Well, I got my Emerald kit out and gave it a good look see. Even though the dark green pedal side head is very dark, I can see grains thru it.
Therefore, I deduced the reso side must surely be see thru as well. So much for turning my Purple Storm hoop into a light green Emerald one.

Well, I finally ordered a replacement front hoop for my Emerald Fade kickdrum after spending the last 5+ YEARS using Al Percival's Purple Storm hoop I kept while searching in vain for a used Emerald Fade light green front hoop to match.

It was very hard to swalllow having to spend $165 just for one hoop of wood and paint.
The order date was October 31, 2016 and I got the call from the music store that it was in and I could pick it up today, 2/8/2017.
3 months and 1 week and it is here.

I must say the color looks a pretty good match for it being at least a decade between the original manufacture date of the kit and this new hoop being done.

I will be sending a PM to AL Percival, and maybe an email to Ron Depew regarding my experience,

    To Be Cont.
