I wish my drum kits would fit in my stick bag :/

Just bought this FF off the bay, got it to my house for under 200, its a little beat up but a good polish will liven it up. These are the stock photos from the auction.

Thank you I'm quite excited myself. I almost got a 3.5 x 14 maple FF on Tuesday but the bid with shipping put it above what I was willing to pay given the fact I wanted a 5 or 6.5 way more than a 3.5

Very nice! FF's are sweet. Are you gonna use the Soprano as a side snare now?

Haven't fully decided I may or when I get this project started with my friend I may switch out from song to song.

That is awesome! The FF are such great snares, the maple is just a fantastic all around snare. The 5" is the one depth I don't have....I would love to have one just because it would complete the collection, but the 6.5 is my favorite size. You are going to love this thing! Congrats!

I believe it. I was wondering and some of you may know if I get the lugs and a shell can I use the existing frame and convert it to a 6.5 or an 8 later if I wanted to?

Absolutely! It isn't cheap, but the parts are all the same from this 2nd generation model forward. You could always get longer tension rods to try a deeper shell first, and only spend the extra on the lugs if the size suits you! FF are so customizable!

I own or have owned drums and cymbals made by every major manufacturer. My go-to kit is a DW Collectors series set.
