I wondered about that but... Nah!
Tonight was the first time out with the BB3 installed. Perfect placement Billy Baker. Thanks!
The hardware is still a work in progress. Cymbals too. Love the Yamaha Crosstown Hardware.

Kit looks great, but who stole the dartboard from the Yuengling backer?

I know that many on this forum don't care for the BB-3 mount or the Pearl tom arms, but I find them very useful, functional and efficient. I think you made a good decision to add that to your kick.

I am curious as to why you went with the older style Optimounts instead of the chrome ones? Did you already have them, or did you just prefer the blackened, boxy look? Not meant as a criticism, just a curiosity.

That's what Pearl sent. I wasn't given an option. But I think it's also how they bring the kit in at the price point they do. Really, this is a sick kit for relatively little moolah.

Stumbled and bumbled my way into some older 950 series stands (in excellent condition) circa 1990, for under $150.00

In all, 3 B-950WT stands, 2 C-950W stands and an S-950WS snare stand. Yes, they are pushing 30 years old, but they are in excellent condition. The reach on the boom stands is amazing. They are ridiculously heavy, so even thinking about gigging with them is out of the question, but they are extremely solid and should suit me well for the home kits.

Just for reference, that shelf in the extended boom picture is just shy of 8' high...

I bought myself the gift that keeps on giving. A new to me, but used, reference 13x6.5 20 ply snare. It was listed on the used GC site for about a 1/3 of what it is new. The previous owner swapped out the ref lugs for masters bridge luges. Not a huge fan of the head that it came with, but i do like seeing the inside of this drum.

Tried to find a fog machine to add to the effect, but to no avail.
