    Agreed Al. I still have a star pattern 18 rock crash. No cracks and sounds great!

    Fully agree. I much favour the 1st gen Z Customs over any of the other Z's (excluding the Dyno Beats, of which the earlier version were better). I had a 16" and a 17" Z Custom Medium crash (with the 6 point star hammering) and I loved those crashes. Loads of power, loads of volume, without being too brash. One day I'd like to collect a full set of them

    My Zildjian Star pattern design back in the day....... wish I still had them.

    I remember those drums. That was the kit that made me re-wrap my EXR with Jammin' Sam's Silver Sparkle Wrap.

    Those were originally PDF member analogbeatmaker (Nick Campbell's) old WLX world series kit I re-wrapped.
