    I bit the bullet and picked up this five piece Session studio classic shell pack.

    I can’t wait to take them for a really good test drivie.

    Here's what I did, Bass drum mic mount, better than the LP Claw, and cheaper than the Dunnett one. Does the job perfectly, easy to set up and position. Made up of a DW Claw hook hoop clamp, Tama LCYE Cymbal L rod, and a Gibraltar mic adapter. Thanks to D4L for the inspiration. (For scale, the bass drum is an 18”)
