Yamaha Groove wedge (Finally , Meinl Claves, KEO percussion medium shaker (Made by the sister company of British Drum Co, with the shaker ends and other percussion parts made out of the surplus material, birch and mahogany, from the BDC shell shop). Also trying some VF HD4's which was the closest I could find to the Steve Gadd Natural signatures that are my usual choice. Feeling good, but a little thinner, so i'll likely stick with my usuals once I can get hold of some.

Not so much of a "purchase"; I had just bought a Trick driveshaft for my PS Eliminator and while I was waiting for it to be restocked, I stumbled onto an insane deal on a pair of Axis A longboards. The pedal needed some TLC but the driveshaft was really sloppy, so instead of throwing more cash at a new driveshaft, I figured out a way to make the two play nice together by making an adapter.

Looks good. Sorry if I am being thick but I always thought they were for a different kind of rimshot sound?

They were for a more woody cross stick sound. You could use it to rim shot but it would feel unnatural, and if you want that, getting full wood hoops is really the only option. Its only a subtle difference, but having fallen in love with the wood hoops on my Steve Gadd snare, I'm loving this addition.

Picked up a Sonor Vintage Series 5.75" snare in the sadly discontinued Onyx finish to go wit my Sonor Vintage Series kit.
A really superb snare drum, sounds great and I love the strainer on this snare.
