I just got my own Roland SPD-SX. So far I’m enjoying it.

I had the earlier version of that years ago. Just could not figure it out.

Holy cow! I haven't been on the forum for a minute. My wife and I just bought a new house and have been busy packing and un packing. But I've been ordering stuff for months and just now getting to set some thing up.

New Session Studio Select shell pack in Crimson burst. 22,10,12,14,16. This is an addition to the 8" Tom, 14"x8" snare, and 20" kick I had already picked up a few months back. The Session Studio Select sound absolutely amazing right out of the box, even with the factory heads. I'm blown away by the sound , appearance, and construction of this kit considering the price tag. Can't wait to get the heads changed up soon. I picked up some clear Emperors so I can see that beautiful dark wood inside the shells.

I also picked up quite a few new cymbals. All Zildjian.
    16" K Sweet bottom
16" K Constantinople crash. New version used as the top Hiaht with the K Sweet. I think I finally found the sound and feel I've been searching for!
19 K Custom special dry Trash crash
    21" K Organic ride
    22" Crash of Doom

Here's some pics of the new drum space... never mind the 10" tom's badge facing the wrong direction.

Thanks dudes! The new house is insane! My wife and I really lucked out as far as location, property size, and proximity to neighbors. The drums are in the loft. It could technically be a fifth bedroom but the builder chose to keep it open. All those shelves (three units, one split in half) are tucked into what could have been the fifth closet.

Here's a pic of the space from a few weeks ago after we had just moved in.

Your house reminds what a crap hole my drum room has become. I need shelves so badly.
