It's probably one of the most beautiful kit ever made (i'm not the only one that think that).

I had to go see what you were talking about Paul... yes and no. The snare in the MD (pages 16-17) is the sterling silver shell snare... which is a hefty 4999 GBP (around $6525 USD)! My shell is titanium, but the hardware is the same.

The drum relation to this is capture the sound! Ö...and the guitar, and the bass...and the vocals. You get the picture...LOL

    [QUOTE=Mirkko DeMaio;1854445783]Bought this thing

Nice Mirkko! Kind of like a Gadd set up but with more unique cymbals. Always thought Yamaha Drums produced a great product. Enjoy them!

I bought a bunch of cymbals in the last week. I already had a Sabian AA 17" Medium-Thin Crash and a Paiste 20" 505 Heavy Ride. On Friday I bought these Sabians:

    20" HHX Evolution Ride ($300!)
    18" SR2 Thin Crash ($100)
14" SR2 Hats (top medium, bottom heavy, $160).

Then on Sunday afternoon, I bought these used cymbals for $460:
    Sabian
    20" AAX Dry Ride
18" Xs20 Medium-Thin Crash (sounds like an AA!)
    16" AA Medium-Thin Crash
16" AA Thin Crash (20th Anniversary Model

    Paiste
    13" Alpha Medium Hats

All of the used cymbals belonged to a friend who passed away. I bought them from his widow. They are all in great shape. Now I can mix and match according to the musical situation. Peace and goodwill.

Cymbals (Again! ) Sold my Sabian Paragon 13" hats, and took a 20" Zildjian Avedis Ping Ride in part exchange, look forward to trying it when it arrives.

In other news, a small 4" Koby Nano trigger pad to further hybridise my kit (and it was cheap) and a set of second hand, unbranded die cast hoops, to try on my old Tama Royalstar snare, just because I can.
Pearl, Natal, Ludwig, Tama, Slingerland, Premier Drums
    Zildjian, Sabian, Zyn Cymbals
PEARL, LUDWIG, TAMA, YAMAHA, NATAL and DW Snares

Roland, Dauz, FAT KAT and Koby Electronics, and loads of Percussion

4 Kits and 8 Snares, and I still don't have enough!
