Picked up another 9000 snare stand for the black beauty.

Also a Roland TD-17KVX as a practice kit. After a lot arranging (and pipe cutting ) I got it to match my acoustic kit heights and set up.
You can see what Rolands set up idea was, and mine.

Great kits the TD17kvx. I also use one for practicing. Need to move mine around a bit to emulate my acoustic set up.

I see you have your 9000 series snare stand set all the way to the lowest setting. That was my issue with the 9000 series snare stands, even at their lowest setting, I wasn’t comfortable with my 12” snare drum. I ended up purchasing the stand with the 12” basket, and that was great but then I wanted to use it for my rack tom...

The TD17 is a great kit and a good value. I think the new snare pad really feels great.

There were two kits in particular that I enjoyed right out of the box... one was Cassette? Lol, I can’t remember but I think one was 11 (Studio something) and the other was 41.

My 14 snares are 6.5 and 6 deep so the 6.5 is set just above the lowest setting, the 6 is level to that height. Im sure a smaller snare would need the other 9399 snare stand but for 14 it's fine. The TD-17 is great, lots of settings to dial it in. I'll be running Superior Drummer 3 on it for sounds.

I bought one of those Tama Starphonic Aluminum snares... this one has been on my list for a long time. Glad I got a chance to snatch one up.

This was about 45 minutes after I bought it:

Bolted through the rack and I built a spacer out of a piece of scrap plywood and 1/4 rubber.

That being what it is I’ll probably engineer something different when I get some time. This is serviceable for now.
