Huh, look at that - I finally bought something drum related! Can't play it as I haven't even seen my drums this year, and likely won't for the remainder. Maybe next year... But still - these are hard to find nowadays, let alone in good condition (and sensible price). I bought this same cymbal waaaaaaaaaay back in the day (way over 20 years ago, I think 24) as one of my first "pro level" (god I hate that term) cymbals when I was still in my teens. It was my main left crash for years until it cracked. I drilled it, cracked through that, drilled it again, and it cracked through that too. I had to junk it after that, must have been around 2005.

So I just need another 3 now to complete a set Another 17 and two 18's would be nice.

You do love your Z's, Thrush. I like your consistency.

I have a plan. I may never fully execute it, but I do have it...

No. Most models were dropped and the few that were left (Dyno Beat hi hats, Mega Bell ride, Ultra Hammered China) were absorbed into the A line

Still does. Don’t know if they’re A’s or old Z’s as most of his cymbals don’t have logos on these days

I still have mine and still love them. They’re kind of a one trick pony, but it’s a trick they do very well

I have a sneaking suspicion that if you took the logos off a set of Meinl’s or hell, even a set of Cambers, he wouldn’t notice.
