Incredible looking Genista, Kevaruka! . Enjoy, I have fond memories learning drums in the early 90's on a Genista kit (my drum teacher's). Fun times, and really cool kits with those lugs.

I just went to the "dark side", and ordered a 19" A Custom Medium Crash. Mostly I have Paiste cymbals (and a few Meinls) and thought I should stick with that route, but I wanted to try something else this time, and the Paiste crashes I was looking at in that size costs way too much at the moment. Think I will like this A Custom, and I might switch out some (or at least one) of my Rudes down the line, for a second one in 18", if this is as good as I think it is.

Another stunner Kevaruka! I have to ask, where are you putting all of these kits? Or do you cycle them in and out? Just curious.

I buy them, restore them then move them on Just a hobby to be honest to do in-between tours

I use the newer black ones you have there, and they are really nice. They give a good punch; more than you'd expect from felt.

This arrived today. British Drum Company's "Joe's Butler" School's out on it though. It is big & rather cumbersome. Plus point is that it holds 2 pints of beer

Stop lending credence to the fact, that we as Americans suck at math and science. A pint is 16 oz (or 473.18 ml) therefore two equal 32 oz. A gallon is 128 oz. A half gallon equals 64 oz and isn't even equivalent to a 6 pack. This is all in good fun btw.
