Looks like it's in great condition. I like those classic polished brass shells.

Ive always wanted a DW kit.. I know its the "Designer series" but its still my dream kit come true. Only bad thing is of all the colors
That was given to me I got the kit that didnt come with a snare nor do they make this color in any other tom or bass drum size. I did lurchase a lovely used DW 14x8 performance steel snare with a 42 snare wire. It soubds so good. Plus I got 8 cymbals coming which will be it. Probably forever lol I may have to put a rack on it for the cymbals and id lile the 6in and 8in concert toms then eventually getting the dw 20in gong drum. It's the beauty of drums... You have so many different options. There's some crazy kits posted in this thread that are mind blowing!

X2. I'd love to find a decent priced polished brass Sensitone in the 6.5" depth...

    That's blue.

They also made these in a red color.

Nice tom D&F! I see that little MicroD you have on the new tom... I use that mic on my snare.

I actually have both 5.5" and 6.5" Sensitones brass in mint condition. I want to replace them with 5" and 6.5" but I can't find anyone who makes the 5" polished brass shell to replace the 5.5" I've only been able to find a 6.5" shell so far so I'm hanging onto the two original Sensitones.

I had a connection in Taiwan who sent me a couple of polished 5" shells but both had production blemishes and I had to send them back twice. Only the 6.5" they sent me was in perfect condition.

Yep. It is a tough mic setup with the optimount. I had to gate the heck out it from hats and snare.

If you wanted to use another D2 on the 6" tom, you could try using this mount, if the original D2 mount is removable. Then you're not relying on the hoop lip for mounting... and the Optimount wouldn't be a hinderance either.
