Pretty enough that I fabricated a need for yet another snare drum very quickly. Also, the price was right!

    Thanks
'Twas a score, indeed. If I don't like it, I can flip it for a decent profit while keeping the Protector Elite case that came with it.

Hawt darn. That'd look pretty slick behind my Gold Crush Glitter/Black Nickel SCP kit. Nice score!

So I’ve been having the weirdest back and forth with a rep from Sabian.

I emailed them a week ago or so about my HH PBR and having the re-finishing service done. A rep named Tanya replied and told me about the new logo and verified what series cymbal it was and yada, yada, yada. Aside from the fact that it takes her DAYS to reply to an email, she keeps telling me that she needs my “complete mailing address” despite that I’ve sent it three times. Anyone else have this experience?

    They're working on mari-time, b'y.

Can't speak to the mailing address requests, but the response time could be chalked up to Covid-related matters. I think NB might be locked down in some fashion; they haven't even reopened their Atlantic bubble yet.

I just wrapped up a deal on a Yamaha DTX 950K. I'm really excited as I've been looking to replace my e-kit for several years now and they've been very hard to find, especially in decent shape. They don't make this model with the Hex Rack anymore so I'm very happy to have found one. I'll be paying it off for the next four years but that doesn't bother me since I'm otherwise debt free.

I hate that E-kits are so expensive. I'd love to have one for practice, and it would admittedly fit my current lifestyle far better than acoustic kit. The upfront cost is just insane though.
