What's your latest drum related purchase?

Just picked up two of the new S1030D snare stands and the new CLA130 bass drum hoop mount closed hi hat holders. Should be here by the 9th.

I also picked up a Mike Mangini snare a few weeks ago so i ordered new heads, snares, Optimount, and some Mastercast hoops to see how they look.

That hat holder looks cool but, unless I’m missing something, would only work in one type of set up, no?

Very specialised, but offering competition to the DW/Gibraltar options I'm sure. I must say though the rim mounted L arm cymbal holder I will be getting, been waiting for Pearl to make such a thing for years!

You guys need to think outside the box. I seriously doubt I’ll be using the bass drum hoop mount, but a closed hi hat on an L-rod? Sign me up!

And they’ve made all the necessary parts to hoop mount a ride cymbal for years...

I picked up some nice Sabian cymbals. Here is my new 20" HHX Evolution Ride... love it!



I also got a 17" AAX X-Plosion Crash, 18" AAX Concept Crash (original version), and a 18" HH Chinese



This is a 18" Vault V-Crash



... and this was a pleasant surprise. This is a 12" HH Prototype Splash, that I paired with a 12" Z Custom Splash, to make a great hihat. It's the perfect aux. hihat sound for me. It's pitch is lower than my 13" HH Fusion Hats.

I've been using a mix of Zildjian and Sabian cymbals for decades. They're essentially the same brand; the models I play are definitely the same B20 bronze.
