    Red Wine Free Floater Shell from Bentley’s Drum Shop. Red Drums do sound better! The MHX 14 Floor Tom is in the background.

    Nice color.

    I have a couple of red satin mahagony snare drums that look like a matte version of that finish.

    I like the FF concept and wish it would have taken off into other sizes and/or a lighter version that could have been used for toms and floor toms.

    New Pearl H1050 Hi Hat stand..switching back to a single kick setup and my other hi hat stand does not have legs!
    My wife says I am no longer permitted to buy any more drums...I said okay you cant buy any more shoes...we are presently at an impasse! I see drums...she sees shoes!

    I have gone completely off the rails.

    This is my new kit, Pearl Masters Retrospec in ruby red onyx. Two Sabian 16” xsr crashes, 14”HHX stage hats, 16” AAXplosion crash, Gibralter rack, Pearl hardware and double pedal.

    This kit came as a double bass kit, so l cobbled together a franken kit for my next door neighbour.

    I have never played a five piece in the traditional config, but l am liking the way this kit sounds and feels.

    18" - to replace the Soultone china....and I've stripped the Soultone logo off the ride until I can find a suitable Zildjian....being super picky about that one because the Soultone rides sound is going to be hard to replace....
