Picked up a used and quite patina’d Paiste 21” Twenty series Dark Dry Ride. Also ordered a 16” Signature thin China, and a new
16” Twenty series thin China that sat unsold in a Long and McQuade in Ontario for 10 yrs. For a $150, I couldn’t pass that up.

I won’t have the Twenty Series China for a week. I’m in B.C and it’s traveling across Canada from Ontario. I’ll post a pic’ as soon as I get it. And Not CUZNRED time. Sorry, I couldn’t resist that one.

Thanks. I've been looking for something different than the 50's A Zildjians I usually play (just for the sake of variety) for a while. So when these turned up at a price where I can easily flip them for a tidy profit, I jumped on them.
Playing them with my band will be the real test (whenever that will be - one of the guitarists is in covid-iso because of a medical condition his girlfriend has). But for now I'm quite impressed with how these "budget" cymbals sound; very close to 2002's but a bit more mellow, which is a plus in my book.

I know the practical application difference is negligible but aesthetically, the curved bars have that beat, imo. Results the same tho so rock on wit yo rack self!

A new thread topic discussing the merits of curved vs straight bar racks is needed.

Which promises to be a reasoned and cogent discussion...
