    Always incredibly interesting kits. Also incredibly awkward looking to play. Oh, well. Works for him. I'd give my drumming soul to be him for one day on this tour.

    Yeah... According to his tech there was an issue with being able to properly mic the kick when it was sitting flat and flipping.

    He's still using Tru Trac's on the toms - why not just trigger the kick as well?

    Actually, no. It really was because of Bananas...

    The Tru Trac on the bass drum didn't work because the throw of the beater would come at such an angle where it would hit the rim of the Tru Trac trigger. Plus, the weight of the Tru Trac made the head sag, even when it was cranked.
