Yeah, it's a little ridiculous. Masters BCX in #357, Golden Bronze Glitter I think it's called.

    22x18 bass drum
    8x7, 10x8, 12x9 rack toms
    14x14, 16x16, and 18x16 floor toms
22x18 bass drum converted into a gong bass drum
    14x6.5 matching snare
    10x6.2 Mike Mangini snare
    12x5 DW snare

I really enjoy the gong bass with a bottom head, I perceive it generates more low end, but it's sort of a pain to set up so I don't take it with me to gigs. I also struggle to separate it from the 18" floor tom in pitch. Either the 18" is too high and runs into the pitch of the 16" or the 22" is not under enough tension and doesn't really resonate. I need to play around with the tuning a little bit.

Yeah? I've seen a couple configs like this. Are you referring to MWRushR40? His kit is beautiful and inspirational, to say the least!

Here's the Masters kits I've owned.

    MMX #153 Sunrise Fade
    MMX #129 Sapphire Sunburst
    BRX #112 Natural Birch
That natural finish birch kit look amazing. I wish there was a birch option in the masters complete series

Beautiful Kit, seems like the masters kits were higher end drums with a lot more finish and shell options before they were cheapened with the MCX and Maple complete lines. I wish I came to the party sooner

Everyone has a preference but in my case I like the masters line from the late 90ís to 2010. I own 3 kits from that era. A Masters Premium Maple , MRX & a BRX/MMX combined. All of these kits are perfect for my needs.
