I dig the kit. One of SJC's nicer ones.

They will be like these hoops.
So... just claw tensioned wooden hoops then?

Extremely good. Not that I have really had a lot of issues with bad customer service from other manufacturers, but the guys at SJC were very easy to work with. Very helpful and good people in ensuring I got what I wanted.

Update to this thread. I sold my Pearl Masterworks drums on Ebay. With that extra cash I decided to finally pull the trigger and have a "big kit". In September I sold the Pearls and shortly after got back with SJC to finalize another order of 5 more drums. 5 Add ons for a 5 piece kit. With all of the additional drums I decided the stands were not going to cut it (not pleasantly for me at least), and dropped another small fortune into a DW 9000 drum rack and a bunch of clamps, arms, mounts and parts. Luckily the very nice people down at Cymbal Fusion in Texas hooked me up on the DW stuff.

I have everything I need to mount the drums hardware-wise (at least I think I do) and a few more cymbals than before.

All Drums will be perfect matches to the aged white ripple drums I have now with the same shells, hardware, heads, etc.. Expected to ship first week of January! Very Exciting!

    Drum sizes are:

    Additional 18"x20" Kick
    8x7" Tom
    12"x8.5" Tom
    18x15" Floor Tom with Legs

6"x6" Single Headed Octabon Style Drum

    Stay Tuned!

A nice looking set of drums! Really excited to see the kit when it is all finished! I used to have an SJC a minute ago. I sold it to the drummer of Somos.

18x20? Aren't kicks on custom drums supposed to be at LEAST 22x24?

j/k bro- good luck with your order and like Opus says, f**k 'em if they can't take a joke!!!

Update! Sorry I have been gone from the forum a while! Still need a side rack piece on floor tom side and maybe other side too to hold cymbals better, but it is almost there.Name: 11265529_10152730515396090_1040379962811610284_n.jpg
