Indoor Drumlines in Texas

I'm a sophomore in high school and I'm considering trying out for an indoor drumline (in the Houston area) next year. I've been on my marching band's cymbal line for two years now, and I really enjoy it. I want to do more with a drum line/ percussion ensemble, and DCI is a little too intense and pricey for me. Is looking into indoor drum lines a good idea?

Indoor Drumline is going to be just as intense and in some cases just as pricey. With groups like Imperial or example. Genesis drum corps just started an indoor group called El Teatro based out of Austin I believe. I would look into them.
