    You pretty much nailed it.
All the tonal characteristics of the 19" but obviously higher pitch, less sustain, etc, owing to its size.
Nice sound, lots of trash and not as 'kangy' as a lot of smaller chinas tend to be.
Guess I'm just used to the extra full-ness of a 16"...

This intrigues me - I'm quite fond of the sound of the Meinl Filter chinas so I imagine this would be similar to those.
Less, by simple definition, cannot be more. Seriously. Check the ****ing dictionary.

Looks like my 18" Z Custom. Bought it cheap with a piece missing and it sounds amazing.

I haven't heard those Filter Chinas in person, but I suspect you're probably right.
I purchased this one from Mugan Music if that helps at all. They seem to have a lot of custom and prototype Sabian's.

So if I'm somehow able to acquire an HHX groove ride should I keep the AA RBDR as an alternate or sell it to fund the HHX?

IMO, if you have use for two different ride cymbals and can afford to buy the HHX without selling the AA, definitely keep both!
They will be fairly different sounds (AA - bright and pingy, HHX - darker with more spread), so if you can only afford one, best choose carefully.

I recently ordered a 15" holy China from mugan music myself. Joe is great with custom orders. I also ordered a 16" HH Raw Bell Dry Ride, which came in rather quickly. The china came as well, but they did a natural finish, as opposed to brilliant, so he sent it back. I have a 14" Holy China on my left right now, and I enjoy it for the short sustain. Makes a great accent cymbal for quick applications, and I think the sound carries well. I imagine the 15" will be great too, and I may order a second for a stack.

Haha, yeah its been slowly and slowly degrading away When funds permit I intend on replacing it with a similar cymbal!

Its also extremely annoying when I go to hit it and my stick just passes through the space!
