Default New Drumline! Can't decide on Snare size, 14" or 13"?

Hi, everyone! I'm a band director/percussion instructor. I'll be purchasing new drumline equipment for my high school and can't decide on the 14" or 13" snare. I'm ordering the Carboncore series, just not sure on the size for snare. I will need 6 snares. I'm also ordering 3 of the 6-drum Tenors sized 6", 8", 10", 12", 13", and 14", as well as Bass sizes 16", 18", 20", 22", 24", and 26". These will be for both Marching Band and Indoor Percussion Ensemble. Any thoughts, suggestions, or recommendations? All input is welcome. Thanks, everyone!

I personally love 14" snares. They are manlier.

    The quad sizes are perfect.

The bass sizes are ok. I would go with 18, 20, 22, 24, 26, and 28 just because it's a little easier to find that nice subwoofer sound out of the 28 vs the 26. You'll need somebody that can carry the mofo because it's pretty heavy.

14s for sure. No many people use 13s these days. However, i do recoment the 14x10s as opposed to the 14x12 being that your using them for indoor too. The two inches wont make a big difference outdoors but will help for indoor. Moreover, its a little easier on some of the smaller players high schools often get. You definitely wont regret spending the extra change to get carboncores. They are AWESOEME!

Yup. What he said. The high school that I teach at uses 13s and I always poke fun at them because "it's too heavy".
