I bought a bottle of Makers over two years ago. Had one glass and it's been in the cabinet since. I'm just going to stick to my rum.

Little bit of a teaser here, but I have a few more additions arriving this week which should pretty much wrap up the A2E conversion.

Right, so here's the kit with the new additions - two more "splashes" up front, china and crash over the octobans and a matching crash next to the china on the right. Still fine-tuning locations for symmetry's sake, but that's about as much as I intend to add to this behemoth. With everything here, I am left with a single input unused which suits me just fine. As always, questions and comments/feedback are welcome. Thanks for taking a look and enjoy!

Really impressive but tell us again why you’ve done this?

Close neighbors and a floorplan that doesn't easily accommodate soundproofing.

For my drum room I carpeted the floor, walls and ceiling. It really made a big difference.

It may have to you. Your neighbors may have a different opinion.

That's one thing I'm quite happy about having gone this route - I have had family go outside by the egress window to hear how "silent" the kit is and really feel like I made the right decision here.

Really nice. I'd have a lot of fun playing that set-up!
