Congrats mate, MCX is just a fantastic sounding line of drums. When it comes time for a maple kit, it'll be an MCX! Can't wait to see full pics!

Is that the Virgil Donati signature snare you're using as the main?

Yeah man VD as main and the sensitone elite as aux, although I aint really digging the clear snare batter head gotta change that!. I'll upload some more shots I took before and some new ones with another crash and china up later. Woo Masters army unite HAHA on another note I got some a boom stand and regular cymbal stand that I am going to sell but It came with this sweet pearl Hi-Hat stand that is going to replace my odd tama stand, haha it's only non pearl hardware besides my actual kick pedals. But I tried the demondrives out today when I went to get my kit and they feel amazing! definitely going to invest sometime although I think I need new cymbals more!!

Yeah personally Im not a fan of clear snare batter heads but some people like that sort of thing.
    Looking forward to more pics!
What model hi-hat stand did it come with?

It came with the H-1000 plus c 1000 cymbal stand,B-1000 boom stand and a single pedal eliminator. I'm going to be getting rid of the C-1000, B-1000 and eliminator pedal. Also came with that steel snare and the dude I spoke with over the phone actually gave me a discount that was already on a discounted set and they had to do it for for cheaper because of that little mix up. I got a pretty sweet deal!

Sounds like a pretty good deal getting a discounted kit at a further discount, as well as being able to sell the other hardware bits!
I dont think Ive used the H-1000 but I imagine its better than my old H800W which serves its purpose just fine and is still going strong after about 6-7 years.
