Ya know- "TING! TING! TING!"?
So the genre of music I play mainly calls for a lot of crash riding and a lot of showmanship. Even so I'm 6'2" haha so where the ride sits for me is basically where your hand does if your forearm were to be perpendicular to your upper arm. Sometimes it's a little higher, playing stuff at home its usually a little lower. Just depends really haha!

and some more recent one up one down pride in studio 3, abbey road. working with a producer who has recorded the likes of terry bozzio, gadd, tony williams... also worked with ringo, so i guess that evens it out a bit.

This is the set that I used for years. Gretsch Catalina Club with maple shells and a limited edition blue oyster wrap. Cymbal mount and rail consolette were retro fitted by me. This kit has been retired and will probably be passed on to my nephew when he's old enough (he loves drums and playing with me).

This is the one I'll use now if I don't feel like going for the whole five piece or don't have the room for it (and the ride is usually just on a stand now, too).

Don't pick a fight with a drummer... we beat things for a living.
