To me, the SSC series is a sleeper. Probably one of the nicest sounding kits I have ever played. That sequoia red is beautiful in person as well!!

I have an SSC in the sequoia red and the pictures do not do this finish justice at all, in person it looks fantastic.

Most of the vids I've seen they make the mistake, IMO, of putting pinstripes to make a vid. This link below is one of the only vids I've seen that has coated Amb's on and this kit show's more potential of what these drums can sound like. Pearl should just ship them with the Amb's.

...Lucky me. I happened to find this beautiful, original owner 4-pc in Cranberry Fade this week on Craigslist for $400!
My first accoustic set & dang, they are so pleasant to hit on, makes you want to keep practicing! As with most beautiful drums, photos rarely do them credit. I'm one happy camper! ��
