    Default Best heads for 1989 Export

    Hey this is my first post so i wanna start off by saying im glad to be on the forum.
    So i was wondering what do you think the best head combo for older exports are. Im starting to think remo pinstripes but im not sure so what is all of your opinions. Thank! Btw i will be posting pics of my exports later!

    Evans new EC2 Clears SST's over G1 Clears on toms and an EMAD2 Bass batter with the Peal Logo Reso on bass. I've never used an Export snare and I'm on my 3rd set of them. Pearl makes so many great snares!

    Clear Emperors over clear Diplomats was what I used when I had that vintage Exports. FOH guys loved that kit!

    For lower volumeI liked coated over clear Ambassadors. piece of rolled-up gaffa tape for darker sounds.
