    Default refinished lars ulrich sig

So i decided to refinish my lar ulrich singature snare i got a few years ago. When i bought it it had some surface rust, but that didnt bother me. I thought it added to the industrial look of it. Its gotten worse since then though so i repainted it. I decided on flat black and did it over the course of two days. Ill post my method if anyone is interested. Here are some before and after pics.

Nice job, I'd love to see one with tube lugs, the larve ones don't work for me.

the only thing about that is that the shell is ground smooth under the lugs so the sit flush. There would be a big oval around where the tube lugs would be.

I love it. Its the perfect sound for me. Not too much ring, just enough. Probably the loudest part of my drum set haha.

I love that flat black, it really makes the steel finish work. If they sold them like this originally like this perhaps I would have considered one a bit more. Nice job!
I love when my cymbals talk dirty to me.
