Matt, The Gretsch looks like a very special drum. I like everything about it. Here’s a picture of the SLP Bubinga which with some help from you, is a special drum.

But then a couple months later I came across the Premium one I bought for an unbelievable price and couldn't turn it down. So I bought it with plans to sell which ever brass snare I preferred less. It wasn't an obvious decision, actually. Each sounded and looked great in their own way. I decided to keep the premium. Once that decision was made I swapped out hardware with my older steel Sensitone so I could have the tube lugs on my steel snare. I'll give whoever buys the brass Elite a good deal, but they're not getting the tube lugs.

BK and I actually traded hoops. I got Mastercast hoops for my Vinnie Paul and he got Superhoops for his MHX snare. That deal worked out great for both of us.
Mike I have the 14x6.5 Sensitone Premium Beaded Brass Patina It has Mastercast diecast hoops on it top an bottom. Best snare I ever owned and was given to me by a very famous Drummer
