    I probably posted a picture of this snare earlier in this thread, but not this one.
    I just bought a new camera and I'm practicing focus stacking with Photoshop.
    Here's the result.

    This is my new Mapex Black Panther 7x12 Maple Fastback Snare. I’ve wanted a 12” snare for a while and always thought I would buy the Pearl Soprano Snare, but this was too good of a deal. It’s the best $250 I’ve ever spent on a single drum. They just refreshed the whole Black Panther lineup and they stopped making this model. That’s why the money off. It doesn’t feel cheap at all. It’s definitely a Black Panther quality snare.


    The shell is thinner than the Pearl, but sounds awesome!

    Heck yeah. Nice easy tensioning and centering. I really can’t get over how nice it is for $250 lol.
