this one sounds great at mid tuning as well...in both high and medium it's a ghost note beast....i like the tiny amount of reverb in there.

Nice video clips! Across all of the tunings, I liked the sound of the tricolon the best.

    Hi,

Here are a couple of custom "Pearl" bell bronze auxiliary snare drums I put together this week. The sizes are 10x5 and 12x5. They are both medium loud and have a nice controlled ring and balanced tone.

Shells: 3mm brushed bell bronze (Oriollo), with 45 degree edges, shallow snare beds, matte lacquer finish.

Hoops: Pearl Fat Tone batter, custom Pearl Fat Tone snare sides

Lugs: Pearl ARL-55 (with gaskets), and SST-42 tension rods

Strainers: Pearl SR-150 (with gaskets), and Pearl SN wires

    Heads: Remo

Badges: vintage Pearl "Sensitone Custom Alloy Bronze Shell" (with gasket)

    Default YAMAHA Carbon Custom

After a bit of a wait due to shipping issues as it was a real ordeal to get an account setup with Fedex in America from Australia etc. All that aside and having a mate work at FedEx here is Australia who not only contacted the states and got this organised but watched it every step of the way (as did I) she is finally here....

Holy crap, that's a lot of coin for a piccolo snare drum. I saw the listing on reverb... $4K + with shipping! Nice, rare find... enjoy it!

this is quite an edgy statement; this snare drum cost the butt skin, really unique drum. saying the cardbox looks better than the drum laying in it is somehow........well...was going to say, insulting, but it isn't the correct word,i'd say '''bizzare'''' and would ask ''why''' ?
