    That’s a good looking snare. I really like the look of the hammered shells more than the regular shells.

    I’d love to see that drum with cast hoops...

    Most definitely aesthetically pleasing Die-casts would be too much I think for it... ?

    Not at all, just a little more controlled. I have a couple like that.

    My Black Beauty has cast hoops, but the shell is not hammered.

    Dang! Two of the biggest players in the game! And in just a few days time...

    Looks like its in great shape! Newer badge but no gaskets under the lugs... probably removed by the previous owner. A purist, maybe?

    Just finished restoring it It did have the gasket on the Butt plate. Can't see why that was left though. Removed it on the re-build

    Looks better than new Kevin... literally. The Ludwig factory wouldn't assemble the drum that carefully.

    Thank you. It has been very well looked after & there wasn't a mark on it. Was just dirty & very lightly tarnished in places. A good power polish of everything, new heads & Puresound Super 30 Wires on. (May change these back to standard) A lovely snare which I originally bought to sell on but will stay with me now (Don't tell the wife............. )
