Not to hijack this thread, but I thought I'd check the UK Price grabber site to see what's out there. Two things struck me. The first was that only 1 seller came up so I guess Price Grabber doesn't work as well in the UK as the US for drum stuff. The second thing, though, is how expensive heads are accross the pond. I'm thinking your best bet might be to buy a ticket to the US, come over here, buy your heads, and take them home. That could possibly be cheaper than what you'd pay over there. How can anyone afford to be a musician outside the US?

I would think any local music store. Then you don't have to pay shipping. They have music stores in the UK, right?

The best place is the local music store, but if you don't have one than ebay, but you have to pay shipping and it is a fortune to ship any where's else than continental U.S.
Also, if you get them on ebay, if you don' like them, than too bad, you cant really ship it back,
Got a problem with my drumming skills? Too bad.

Cheapest for Remo in the UK that I know is gak.co.uk - even with 5.99 p&p they work out cheaper than most. If you have standard size toms (ie 12/13/16 or 10/12/14) go for one of the tom-packs and they'll chuck in a free 14" for a standard size snare.

The UK is lucky, they have drums shops, here in Canada we try to make drum heads out of large maple leaves.

I've always found rockfactory.co.uk to be pretty good on pricwes for everything. They have a shop in Castleford, W. Yorks but they also ship[ nation wide. Check em out. I live in Chester now and I still order stuff from them, they were about 50-60 cheaper then other shops when I last reheaded my kit a few months ago.
