I don't think it's weird. Your weaker foot has a harder time dealing with the rebound of the head, it loses precision.

That would make sense. I often play both ways just to try and figure out if that "lag" is the reason. I figured it was. Somehow my left foot moves faster then a single pedal (rebound) can take, mainly because I have played double pedals so long I assumed. I still can get going with 2 singles very well, but IMO, I am a speed demon on a double pedal compared. 240 BPM easy.

That is a beautiful sight. I don't know why, but even though I'm Pearl-for-life, DW pedals and HH stands are where it's at for me.

Do you like that snare head? I'm think about drilling holes in mine! I can't seem to get my desired sound from it. Is it the Evans Genera that has the tiny hole all around the head? I'm planning on making my own hybrid like that from this head!

    Thanks!
The original owner ordered the snare with steel superhoops. It sounded great but I ordered die cast hoops from drum factory direct and I must say the snare sounds clearly better. Home studio almost done and I can't wait to record with these.Name: NeriStudios5535_n.jpg
