    Default Pearl Welcomes Will Hunt!!

Pearl Drums is very proud to welcome Will Hunt to the acclaimed artist roster. Having just been hand selected by metal icons, Black Label Society, as well as rockers Evanescence and Crossfade, Will’s hard hitting has launched him to the top of the rock drummer podium. Will is currently gearing up to rock for Black Label Society’s summer and fall US tours which begin to launch this week, and head all the way until late November. Included within the 4 months of extensive touring, Will and BLS will be rocking the 2010 Ozzfest dates alongside rock legends Ozzy Osbourne and Motley Crue.

The slew of tour dates comes in celebration of Black Label Society’s new studio release, “Order of the Black”, which exclusively hits the shelves of Best Buy on August 10th. Order of the Black marks Will’s first studio album with Black Label Society.

Alongside the work with Black Label Society, Will has also been called to be the drummer for Evanescence’s new album, “The Open Door”, which is set to drop in fall of this year, followed by extensive touring. Recently, Will has also been asked to bash the skins for South Carolina rockers, Crossfade, who are also in the process of recording and releasing an album for this year. With the workload that exceeds that of most A-level drummers in the world, it’s safe to say that Will Hunt will need the dependability and quality of Pearl drums and hardware throughout the crazy schedule that ensues.

For more information on where you can catch Will live, please be sure to check back with all of the major projects he is currently working on. Welcome to the Pearl family Will!

    Great stuff.

Been a fan of Will's playing for years. One band you failed to mention that he was a part of is Skrape. Their first album New Killer America is to this day one of my favorites. Not a weak track on the entire album.

This is great news! Will Hunt has been one of my top influences ever since I saw him with Skrape on the Extreme Steel Tour with Pantera and Slayer in 2001. The 2 albums that Skrape put out are still in rotation on my iPod. Can't wait to see him bash the skins with BLS in Spetember.

Go here for pics of his new kit.

Dark New Day was great too. I really dug the acoustic EP.

I saw Will when he played with Tommy Lee on Tommy's Never A Dull Moment tour. I was backstage for the whole set, right under the big screen and right behind Will. Solid drummer. Glad he's doing well for himself still 8 years later.

Saw Will with Black Label Society on Saturday night. He absolutely killed it. I haven't seen him play live since his Skrape days so it was definitely a highlight for me.
