I would try an Ambassador Coated Control Sound or an Emperor X... both great choices for the sensitone

I want to try out Remo's controlled sound drumhead for the snare. Good or bad choice for the sensitone?

It sounds great !! Very clear bell, especially when you play it with the body of the stick
One of the best cymbals in my collection !

Sucks about the wrist, especially when you have an awesome, new, shiny ride to play with. At least you can hit that...haha!

Not for scaryguy's one! it's the one that comes with the vision kits, and the emporer X is way too thick! I bought one, and it just doesn't work. A drum shop I went in to buy a new one said that it is because it's too thick. The controlled sound yes, Emporer X no. I'm surprised the Emporer X works on that one for you. I'll have to hear one in person sometime...

scaryguy, congrats on the new ride, it looks awesome!
