ITs important to note this is alpha-numeric order not order of pro quality (hierarchy if you will) of d/c's Paistes.

A quick note: "Professional" means you can take the cymbals to the studio and they will track extremelly well. "Student" won't sound as good on tape and they will not blend as well either, but they can still be used in live gigs. (I'm talking Paiste here).
My YouTube channel - old school Metal and Progressive covers.

    Drum Gear:
Paiste, Tama, Gibraltar, Danmar, Rhythm Tech, Aquarian, LP, Vater, Wuhan.

    Recording/Mixing Gear:
Mackie 1640i, Senheiser, Beyerdynamic, Audio Technica, Shure, Apple, Logic, Ultimate Ears.

I've mostly 2002s and a couple other models, including a couple twenty series, and I don't like either of the twenty series. 16" crash and 17" thin crash.
The 17" thin crash feels thicker than any other crashed and my medium, and has the lowest pitch even of my 18 & 19 2002.

Sorry if im high-jacking your thread, i'm just curious.
Wow, if aax and hhx are the top of the line for Sabian, I was very disappointed with them and immediately returned what I got to try and just stuck with my 2002s.
I guess zildjian are a step above Sabian, at least with my experiences over the past 45+ years playing, but I switched from zildjian to Paiste 2002 in 77 and never went back. I did try Sabian once and regretted it.
I do have one 35 year old zildjian 10 inch splash i got only because no Paiste were available at the time.
Most of the 2002s are 35 years old also.
