Same. Or boots if it snowed outside.

Edit: As opposed to snowing inside.

I actually practice with all different kinds of shoes. Boots, dress shoes, sneakers, barefoot. This way if I ever have to play on the spot, (like at a friends gig if they invite you up) it won't matter what Im wearing on my feet.

    I do prefer sneakers though.

Barefoot or socks if playing at home, but every other time shoes, really makes no difference apart shoes making it easier to bury the beater and get harder hits. Onitsuka Tigers are the nicest shoes to wear, lots of grip!

I prefer socks, but I've found my pair of macbeth shoes are not to bad if I have to wear shoes.

I play in socks. I am always wearing boots wherever I go and I don't like to play drums with them on so I just whip them off and play with socks. I don't like the feel of playing with shoes anymore nowdays, I like to feel a similar feeling with my feet and hands.

Whatever I'm wearing at the time. Sometimes with my genitals for kicks and giggles.

I find no difference between those three, except barefoot makes your feet cold for about the first minute.

Used to be barefoot all the way. Now I play in socks for recording (more sensitive) and with shoes for live and jamming (heavier, more solid)

Socks all the way. Barefoot is too cold, and playing with any shoe makes my feet feel really disconnected to the pedal.
