After I sell the paistes I might sell the snare too... its the odd man out with my other snares.

But so far, in short time I am very impressed with the rack tom and the kick drum, very impressed and the finish is just fantastic...

But the heads get a D.

Well threw some coated Emps on there and the rack toms is sweet. The floor is a little harder to control. A bigger drum like that with only 6 lugs... I should've stuck with my instincts I think and got the pinstripes. More focused, eh live and learn
The kick is really thumpin. Tomorrow I'm gonna use her at a local gig.. We she how she does live and I'll have more pics all set up.

The hardware really isn't bad. Some of the pieces are a little chincy but some are really solid too. Equivalent to me ludwig hardware at least....

Why not just leave the emps on the rack toms and throw a coated pinstripe on the floor? Or alternatively you could throw a 2.3mm hoop on the batter side of that floor. Both solutions cost a mere 16 bucks.

True. In my mind its the principal that I jus spent that $16 bucks on the coated emp.

Nice steal. Those black paistes straight up do not look like musical instruments, though.

Just used them at a gig last night and was pleasently surprised. First off the emps sounded damn good live. Just goes to show you you need to hear everything from all angles. And hearing someone else play them helped. I think I'm gonna get a white reso with a port down the road. Much classier with that finish. Set up pics should be up later today or tomorrow.
