Default ITS FINALLY HERE! Double Bass VBX

After a horribly painful 6 month wait, i finally have my entire kit. I'm still playing with the set up, the 12 inch tom is a little too deep to be quite comfy over the bass drum but i am very pleased with them.

    16x16
    14x14

    8x7
    14x5.5 sensitone
14x5 premier snare (not in pics)

    Cymbals (all Zildjian):
    6.5 Zilbell
    14 Z custom mastersound hats
    17 A custom medium crash
    18 A rock Crash
    19 K custom hybrid crash
    22 A custom Ride

    Whats Next?
    DTXPRESS IV special
    17 and 19 chinas
    8 and 10 splashes
    new snare.
Now pics! patience please, theres about 20 or so.

I like it. I love playing double kick set ups with three symmetrical toms out front.

6 months, "entire kit".. you didn't get it piece by piece, did you?

I was planning on getting a VBX doublebass kit too. Can I ask about how much the shells cost you and where you got them from? I'm in Canada too so it will be around the same for me!

the crash and 2 chinas are badly cracked (came that way with my old kit). the splashes are B8s and mediocre at best, the 14" china i bought when i new nothing about drum sounds and now i cant stand it, its not focused and sounds like a trash can lid

either 15 or 1800, i can't remember exactly, pretty damn reasonable for the quality if you ask me. these sound so much better than my premiers, and i really liked my premiers.

Nice finish and I like the black hardware aswell.

Where did you buy them from I'm familiar with all the stores in Cowtown.

Remember Todd Sucherman clinic coming very shortly at Axe Music he'll probably be playing Demon Drives
