yeah, I noticed this a few months ago. It's a real shame since it was really helpful.

Hey Pearl, how about getting all those old catalogs back online!?
I own or have owned drums and cymbals made by every major manufacturer. My go-to kit is a DW Collectors series set.

I have the following cataloges scanned in *.jpeg:

    1991 Forum
    1991 Export
    1992 Export
    Prestige Session Elite
    SZX Series
    Abalone Series
    Spare Parts Catalogue 1989

Some of these are 10 pages. Instead of me posting them over several posts (max. 4 pics per post), could I email the jpeg-files to somebody who could gather them catalogue-wise (*.pdf)? Please PM me, and I'll be more than happy to email the files. I would LOVE to share these ones, especially the Abalone, SZX and Spare parts catalogues are a bit rare
Kits: CZX - SZX - MLX - BLX
    Snares: Pearl (8), Gretsch (2), Premier (2)
    Cymbals: Paiste
    Mics: Shure, Audio-Technica, AKG
    Sticks: Wincent

Due to another post (thanks to PDFer "baiof versognai") in another thread in the vintage forum, I've found another rather extensive source of catalogues from 1964 to current:

    http://catweb.tgtel.com/pearl/

All the catalogues Eirik75 has mentioned above are there.

Get in quick before this lot disappear as well...

This lot shouldn't disappear anytime soon....at least not as long as I am still employed l, being a network/systems admin has its benefits I put the server up to share the catalogs, it's no cost to me so I thought it would be a nice benefit to others around here.

That said....if you or anyone has any of the catalogs not in this list, send them to me and I will share them as well. I managed to get most everything on the Pearl Brazil site before they took those down, plus the ones I had collected myself.

There is also a folder started for Tama but the collection is just started. If you browse to

    http://catweb.tgtel.com/

You will see the two folders.

If anyone has any Sabian, Zildjian, anything really already in digital format, get them to me and I will gladly share what I can get a hold of. I know how long I have searched for info at times with no success so hopefully this will help out!

    LDdrummers server fell over.

    It's back up again though:
    http://catweb.tgtel.com/

Changed format: All the Pearl catalogues are instantly viewable.
Tama is in the Tama subdirectory, at the bottom of the page...

    June 2020 update.

LD's catweb server has fallen over, here's hoping it will go back up when things around the world change for the better again.
    Shame though, very handy collection.

I've been revising the info in this thread.
I've edited out what broken links I can, and, if I have found replacements, put them in.
So, please read each post carefully.

    Sonor fans:

If you didn't know about this one, take a look
    https://www.sonormuseum.com/

Check out the Sonor site too, under "media"...

    That's all for now,
    Cheers,
    Grant
