Blue is just such a pretty color. I would love to get my kit and BRX Rad's kit in the same room. Maybe they would mate and make a little Rhythm Blue Sparkle kit!!!

Thanks! I'm working on the setup now. This will be the first time I've used a rack in my set up. I grabbed some TH-2000S arms last night...

2 air vents on a kick drum? I can honestly say that's a first for my eyes

Really, I could have sworn that I just read today that one of the Yamaha lines had five air vents on the kick drum. Not sure if it was the PHX or Absolute series. There claim for it was a punchier sound.

Strangely enough....Pearls Crystal Rain finish came about when the mad scientists at PMI decided to try spraying Rhythm Blue flake on top of Silver Sparkle. So Crystal Rain is pretty much what you just mentioned as Rhythm Blue Sparkle. And when you look at Crystal Rain in person, you can see the Rhythm Blue in it. That is the reason I bought the Rhythm Blue snare to go with my Crystal Rain kit. Rhythm Blue is one of the best colors Pearl offers. There's something about that blue. I just wasn't sure I could handle an entire kit in it. So I went with Crystal Rain, with the RB snare. Best of both worlds I guess. Well, it made sense to me, at the time.....
