I did have matching heads for the botb benefit and you told me they were ugly lol

Maybe so, but I donated them to the foundation so that all the kids they help can sign them.... so eventually they will be some awesome heads.... though still ugly lol

    i was wondering ....
is that an alesis sample pad? and, do you trigger off of of it ...like your kicks? or is it just for effects? some people complain abut the lag ,when loading sounds ...was it a big issue using it live , or even worth worrying about ?

Yeah it's the sample padpro. There is a bit of lag when loading external sounds from the ad card. But as long as you plan ahead it's not too bad.

It does take a minuet or 2 to load my one kit for wish you were here because I have 2 loops in it for the static sound at the beginning and the wind at the end. But other than that I only use one kit on It. I have a few percussion sounds, claps, snaps, and a bass drop. So for me the lag isn't really an issue.

I've been thinking of triggering my kick and/or snare with it just for fun, but I haven't gotten around to it yet

Went with the box toms I see. But only 6 staples rather than 8 or 10?

Looking forward to seeing the entire kit once you get back from blessing the rains.

Congrats on the Session Studio Select and a 20" kick. That's what I'm hoping to get later this year in crimson burst.
