Default Newest pics of the M Birch. Mapex, UFIP, Sabian, DW, Sonor.

Hey guys. I've downsized my M birch since the last time i posted pics. No more symmetrical setup but i might go back to it someday.

This is my gigging setup that i use with my band. It's doing me surprisingly well considering the music we play.

Mapex M Birch in Transparent Cherry
    22x18, 12x9, 16x16
14x5" Sonor S-Classix Birch snare with ebony veneer.

    21" Ufip Natural Series Ride
    20" Zildjian K Heavy Ride
    19" Sabian AAXplosion
    18" Sabian AA Chinese
    14" Sabian AA Flat Hats
    12" Sabian AA Mini-Chinese
    10" Wuhan S-Series Splash

    DW5002 Accelerator Double Pedal
    DW9500 Hat stand

Also got new batters and resos for the toms, new batter for one of my snares (i chose the sonor), and in the future, i'll be getting a new bass reso.

    Enjoy and comment!

    Very nice, small kit.
Did I see Powerstroke 3 on the snare's batter side?
How does it sound on birch shell?

    Thanks guys.

    yeah i play open-handed.

Yes that is a powerstroke 3. I'm not a huge fan of it but i got it to try it out. It gives it a nice deep sound, takes away some of the crispness you would get from an amb. If i were to start an Isis-ish band, this is the head i would use.

EDIT: yes the kit is dusty, but i dont think it's really that important to dust it every week. I'll usually give it an overall cleaning before a gig.
