Wow, no kidding? Very cool! I love that finish! I found a used Ref in that finish, but it was with Sam Ash and they wanted the same price I could order one new for. So I passed and ordered my red sparkle MRV special!

HAHA, despite liking Lonny, I still would buy almost any color besides Red.

Although I am very cool with Blue

This kit is as old as I am, and looks like it was made yesterday.

Although this video was not done with the intention to feature the MMP, it might be interesting for some of you to hear it in a fully produced musical context:

The sound you're getting is great. The snare, cymbals, and rack toms sound really good. The floor tom sounds dead. The video is unwatchable. It immediately reminded me of the old movie "The Ring," which was a great horror movie, but not the kind of effect I'd look for in a smooth jazz/fusion video.

Yes, sorry for the bad quality of the video footage. I‘m in desperate need of a reasonable good cam! The cheapo Motorola cell phone leaves room for improvement!

And yes, the 14 FT sounds a little dead since I tuned it last. Before that day it had excess sustain... As my focus was on testing a new mixing console I simply had no attention left for consistent tuning ...

I liked it. Great groove. The snare sound I like very much, toms are cool. Good production. Nice playing !

Don't call "The Ring" old! I was 12 when it came out and when I first saw it.
