    Default Lildrummerboy568's New Drum Video

How's it hanging Pearl Drummers Forum community? Wow, I don't regularly visit the board as much as I used to. And I've noticed that I don't recognize mose of the regular posters on here anymore. Lol. Well I'm just dropping by show everyone my new drum solo. It's alright I suppose. It's live and most of the transitioning flaws you might observe come from little, well, NO planning what so ever. Regardless, I hope you enjoy.

    Peace,
    Lance

I liked it a lot. Good showcase of skills and showmanship. Right length too!

Awesome drumming. You have a similar problem to me, though.

We tend to play way too many single stroke rolls between doubles on the kicks, just cause they send sweet.

impressive... most impressive. So weird to see a lefty play traditional

I found alot of it just too flashy to try to impress people, but as a fellow drummer I can also some of the things you were doing as great examples of fine technique and you had a very tight groove near the beginning. You've obviously got great chops and speed, I just would have prefered to hear something a little more groovy and tasteful, but hey... thats just me.

    Again, nice stuff.

ps. you still remind me of that kid from Jurassic Park 1

    Wow that was amazing!

So turn your ears, you musicians, to silence
Because they only come out when it's quiet,
Their tails brushing over your eyelids...
Oh, wake up, sleepers, and rise from the dead!

Ha, yeah, now you're a name I remember. Lol. But thanks for the compliments. The traditional thing, I guess it's kinda' Taboo for lefties but it's become a habit of mine since playing the snare drum. Yeah, I felt the solo wasn't as good as it could've been. I just felt so disoriented. It was probably because of a *****in' headache and because I'm too lazy to prepare anything.
