    Default Wuhan SNARES?

Any ideas on what they are like guys? If they are as good as there Chinas and Splashes occasionally are, they could be great!

I think that every snare has diffirent characteristics, just like the cymbals
Maybe this is a Spirit of Wuhan snare, made from cracked cymbals
I don't know if i would buy it, since their cymbals are inconsistant and crack often

I've seen these advertised in MD for some time and posted about them a while back. They look pretty good, and from what I remember were very cheap. I have no clue who carries them though.

Looks pretty cheapo (like their cymbals) even ahead drumsticks makes there own snare, as well as a few other oddball snares from out companies floating around.

Yeah it would be a special beast, as for the ahead snares they are all generic parts from the same places that most custom companies buy them from, there nothing special (not saying there bad) just like every other brass snare really.

I would have bought the wuhan just for the fact that i could say WOW i have a wuhan........SNARE!!!!

mmm i wouldnt risk it, i would go out and buy a good brass snare by a brand i can trust, wuhan has gotten lucky with me 2/2 for their chinas, but i think a snare is pushing it.

This snare looks pretty nice. I have seen them for $99. I don't see how it could be bad for that price. The tube type lugs are almost worth that alone.

And someone mentioned the Ahead snare. That too seems like a nice snare for the money. I think it is around $200, and comes with a Trick or Dunnett throw off, S Hoops, and Attack Heads. I believe it has really nice snares also..... maybe fat catz.
