Made this low table to hold phone n stuff, top is the basin cut out from the bathroom worktop, base is from my old Premier Trilok stool - while the stool cover is really comfy, the base is not very adjustable so I bought another stool to replace it hence its not being used.

Cut out a couple of pieces of 18mm ply to go underneath (so 36mm thick), drilled a 29mm hole and screwed into the underside of the worktop. Neck of the stool base is a good fit in the 29mm hole.

Wanted a Concert/ gong bass drum to add to my percussion rig. Had an old crap bass drum in the shed, so rigged a heavy bass and a pearl tom arm into the tom holder and voila. Sounds great, though I will switch the head out if I decide to keep it.

Not my idea, but spotted on Adam Lambert's mic stand on the Queen tour, looks to be a Pearl PCL-100. Cool use really, not something i'd of thought of.

I believe these might be commercially available, as Chuck Billy from Testament has the same one:

The perforated tube had some RGB lighting in it too and the stand was illuminated, as far as I can remember.
