    Default DIY Drum Hardware/Accessories

Hi guys, i was reading about a $5 drum dial you could make yourself the other day, and im waiting for my parts to be delivered. And i was thinking today how better off i would be if there were so many more ideas like this.
So this thread is all about posting your own initiative, plans, projects and ways of building drum parts which would often be priced at 10times the amount you pay building it yourself.
Please remember to summarise your project if it big.
So lets see them, whether it is a drum dial, stick holder or acoustic kit turned electronic, i want to see lots.

Well, I don't know if there is "professional" equipment made for this problem but I sometimes have issues where my kick drum pedal comes unattached or moves around on my kick drum. I cut a piece of bicycle tube and put it between the clamp and the kick drum rim. It also helps protect the rim from getting damaged.

I made a cowbell beater for a bass pedal. Cost maybe $2 or $3.
First, I took the beater out of the pedal and went to the hardware store to find a small rod of the same diameter.
Next, I got an old stick and sawed off the butt and drilled a hole the size of the rod.
Last, I just screwed it on.

How 'bout all those diy bb3 etc. covers?
As well as those souble pedals that are set up similar to a regular double bass.
Can't find the links, but they're pretty cool.
