    Default my starclassics, stage 2

hey guys.. some members suggested I start another thread and show the progress of my kit.

Its not really stage 2, but ya catch my drift.

Alot has happened. I sold some stuff, my rack, some cymbals, some hardware. I had soo much at one point that I would get angry at gigs with all my stuff. It would take me too long to break down and setup.. well its not that it took long just got really cumbersome after a while considering that venues cant usually accomadate a bigger kit w/ racked style setups.

here are more current pics right here. The first pic is my current setup, sorry for the crap quality.

    drums.
    tama starclassic performer.
    8x8, 10x8, 12x9, 14x14, 16x16, 22x18

    heads.
    evens g2/g1 on toms
evens emad on bass an eq3 tama reso

    cymbals.
    16 a thin crash
    16 wuhan china
    17 a med thin crash
    18 z custom rock crash
    18 a thin crash
    19 a custom crash
    20 a ping ride
    22 k ride
    14 a mastersound
    14 z custom
    10 a custom splash
    8 a custom splash
    6 a custom spash
    6.5 zilbel

my current config is a rather simple, 10,12,14,16 and a minimal cymbals.. 14in mastersounds, 19in a custom crash, 18in z custom rock crash, 20in a ping, 16in china.

honestly i feel that is the best setup.

Apart from my loathing of the tom mounting system, nice kit.

how do you not like the starcast? if its mounted off the bass then yea, cant get em too close, but its still not bad, and when mounted from stands its perfect.. I actually perfer the starcast over other mounts.. the RIMS is my second fave.
